Arestech is pleased to announce that our new product line, in-vehicle computing. The VBC-6060 is powered by an Intel® Core™ i7–4700EQ CPU, the VBC-6060 offers a wide operating temperature up to 70 °C to provide stable operation and maximize performance efficiency.
The VBC-6060 is designed for use in vehicles
The VBC-6060 passed several international safety vehicle authority certifications. Its features a vehicle-friendly power design (ISO 7637-2), transportation industry certification (E-Mark, EN 50155), and anti-vibration/shock resistant design (MIL-STD-810). It Integrated vehicle management, surveillance and information are ideally suited to a large variety of vehicle applications. In addition, a controller area network (CAN) bus 2.0B is a vehicle standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other in applications without a host computer. The VBC-6060 equipped with GNSS, the VBC-6060 can be used as a GPS and BDS system for real-time information access in remote or mobile environments.
Featuring stable operation and maximize performance efficiency
The VBC-6060 is equipped with a quad-core Intel® Core™ i7–4700EQ CPU and 16 GB of memory to combine fast, cutting edge performance with strong expansion capabilities for fanless in-vehicle computing. The VBC-6060 can operate within a wide temperature range of -25–70 °C, and high vibration environments. The maximum operating temperature of 70 °C ensures that the VBC-6060 will continue to work reliably under extreme conditions and in harsh environments.
High performance specification provides the largest possible storage capacity and easily adapt to vehicle-specific applications
The VBC-6060 supports for the IEEE 802.3af/at standard for Power over Ethernet (PoE) to reduce installation costs and increases reliability. The VBC-6060 has four PoE interfaces simplify installation and can be directly connected to a device monitoring system. It requires RAID 0/1/5 capabilities provide maximum storage space and improve data security and three Mini PCIe slots support 3G/WLAN/LTE modules. Built-in mSATA and dual SIM card interfaces support Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G communications. Moreover, the one-touch recovery button can immediately recover the system if the operating system becomes corrupted, or the hard drive is damaged.
The VBC-6060, with its high-performance specification, can provide video transmission, monitoring and other functions suitable for use in commercial and public transportation, or in specialized vehicles for the military, police, security and other high-security industries.
